Prestige Senior Living High Desert
Life Enrichment Coordinators, Becky and Kendall, are requesting weekly visit from a Therapy Dog Team. They feel that some of their residents would greatly benefit by interacting with a dog. Saturdays and Sundays are the days that residents need a visit the most.

3 to 4 pm
Becky and Kendall are open to any day of the week if a team cannot visit on a weekend. They want to incorporate therapy dog visits onto the monthly calendar.

Mill View: A Memory Care Community
Mill View would LOVE to have a therapy dog team visit at least twice a month. The goal is to bring smiles and comfort to the residents.
Best Days: Sunday through Thursdays, but can include Fridays and Saturdays once the therapy dog team has visited a few times while the activity director is there.
Best Times: 10 am to noon, 2 pm to 4:45 pm
Requirements to volunteer: A basic and brief volunteer form to fill out and a copy of your dog's current therapy registration.
Visiting location: Visits will occur in the community area which is spacious allowing for even our biggest tail wagging comfort dogs. If there is a bed ridden person whose family has approved a dog visitor, then a visit will happen in their room.
Please note: Small dogs are welcome on residents laps and on the bed of a person who cannot get up.
