I first met Mare Shey in Portland, OR, at a national conference. We were in the process of designing a facility and working on our business plan. Mare presented a seminar on doggie daycare that provided a detailed look at the facility, personnel, and operational requirements we would need. A year later as we were beginning construction I attended a 3 day seminar at her facility along with the trainer I had hired.
We left with a comprehensive understanding of daycare and what we must do to operate in a professional, safe, and profitable manner. Many of the ideas presented to us pertained as well to every area of our new business.
Since that on site seminar we have maintained regular contact and relied on Mare to assist us whenever we needed guidance. We have been fortunate to host 3 day seminars for Mare twice at our facility, inviting interested parties from across the United States to learn from Mare.
