If you have seen a trained dog, horse, or cat on the big screen recently, you have more than likely seen an animal trained with a clicker.
Clicker training allows you to communicate exactly what you want the animal to do, resulting in amazing performance and fun pet tricks, obedience behaviors, foundation skills for dog sports, and basic manners. First used to teach dolphins both in captivity and in the open ocean, clicker training is now being used in zoos, animal shelters, and wild animal sanctuaries everywhere.
This 6 week class will focus on effective use of a clicker and techniques to expand your dog’s understanding of simple tricks and shape new behaviors.
Learning how to effectively use the clicker and attention exercises,
target training and fun useful tricks, like bow for hello, or maybe even picking up their toys.
